As an EMEA Operations IT Transformation Senior Analyst within Bernstein SG’s Operations organisation, you will own defined reporting, data analytics, automation and process-improvement workstreams supporting post-trade Operations. Reporting to the Head of Operations – Europe, you will design and support controlled solutions that provide reliable operational insight, strengthen management oversight and improve efficiency across the securities trade lifecycle. You will work closely with Operations management and operational teams to translate business requirements into scalable Power BI, data and workflow solutions, while coordinating testing, documentation, implementation and transition into business as usual.
Your main responsibilities will include:
· Own defined Operations transformation workstreams and complex deliverables from requirements gathering through controlled implementation, transition to business as usual and post-implementation review.
· Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting using DAX, Power Query and appropriate data-modelling techniques.
· Produce clear and reliable reporting on settlement performance, fails, volumes, prematching, exceptions, reconciliations, operational controls and other key trade-lifecycle measures.
· Analyse large and complex operational datasets to identify trends, root causes, risks and improvement opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations for Operations management.
· Maintain robust data-quality controls, reconciliations, lineage, access management and validation checks to ensure outputs are complete, accurate, timely and auditable.
· Design, build and support automated Operations workflows using Power Automate and approved Microsoft 365 applications.
· Assess automation and process-improvement opportunities, considering benefit, cost, risk, control impact, resilience and maintainability.
· Develop requirements, process maps, solution documentation, test scenarios, operating procedures and implementation plans; coordinate user acceptance testing, defect management and controlled deployment.
· Maintain accurate project plans, JIRA records, risks, dependencies, decisions, approvals, status reporting and implementation evidence, escalating material or unresolved issues promptly.
· Provide business-as-usual technical support for dashboards, datasets, refresh processes and automated workflows, including incident triage, root-cause analysis and controlled releases.
· Partner with Operations stakeholders across the front-to-back securities trade lifecycle and support onboarding, knowledge transfer, cross-training and continuous improvement.
· Comply with all applicable risk, regulatory and internal policy obligations, including the Société Générale Group Code of Conduct and relevant conduct standards.
· Undertake additional duties as required.
